True friends are often gifts of fate. You can’t find them on purpose. You can only earn them – and then life itself will reward you with a loyal friend.
And this friend will not necessarily be a man. It is quite possible he will be… a four-legged man. Yes, we’re talking about animals that have been with humans for as long as anyone can remember. These are dogs. They are true friends!
Some people choose dogs from shelters, where they languish and feel sad waiting for a new family. It’s a great gesture that deserves respect. The coolest thing about it is the reaction of the dogs to being taken to their new owners.
You can’t call such actions anything other than life-saving. You can’t even imagine how quickly and drastically the dogs change when they are taken from shelters to homes.
