Many of us love to indulge in sweets. But sometimes we don’t want to spend a lot of time preparing them, and store-bought sweets don’t always satisfy our taste.
Today we want to share with you a recipe for “Napoleon” that is quick to prepare and looks beautiful.
To make “Napoleon” in a glass, you will need:
- Flour — 180 g
- Butter — 120 g
- A pinch of salt
- Sugar — 1.5 tbsp
For the cream:
- 2 egg yolks
- Sugar — 60 g
- Milk — 300 ml
- Flour — 2 tbsp
- Butter — 30 g
The dessert is prepared as follows:
Grate very cold butter. Add sugar, salt, and flour to it. Mix these ingredients into crumbs. Do not add any liquids (water or milk).
Pour the dough crumbs into a dry pan. Constantly stirring, fry them over low heat for about 10 minutes.
In a saucepan (preferably with a thick bottom and non-stick coating), place the yolks, flour, and sugar. Mix them thoroughly and add the milk.
Constantly stirring with a whisk, cook the cream over low heat for 7-10 minutes. When the cream and crumbs have completely cooled, we can start assembling the dessert.
To do this, place a couple of spoonfuls of crumbs in beautiful glasses, then a couple of spoonfuls of cream, and alternate the layers until the glasses are completely filled. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for a couple of hours and enjoy its taste.
