A young man named Randy and his beloved dog, Twins, are inseparable. Randy adopted the pet two years ago when it was just a little puppy. The little one became the best friend to his owner, and these two became very attached to each other.
Twins would often play with the daughter of Randy’s friend. The child found it amusing to toss a bottle from her playpen for the dog to catch. Every time the pet brought the discarded item back, Randy would clean it and return it to the little girl. But one day, the dog quietly ate the top of the bottle without anyone noticing.
No one realized what had happened until the dog started feeling unwell…
Twins stopped running around, refused to eat, and simply lay beside Randy. The owner could sense that the pet was in pain, and when the dog began vomiting, he immediately rushed him to the veterinarian. At first, even the doctor couldn’t pinpoint exactly what had happened to the poor dog.
Due to frequent visits to the veterinarian with Twins, Randy lost his job. The desperate young man felt like he couldn’t save his beloved pet, and that was one of the worst things that could happen to him.
Finally, the doctor realized that the pet had swallowed a foreign object. An emergency surgery was needed, which cost $4,500, and Randy didn’t have that kind of money. So, Randy decided to sell his car, just to save his dog!
The young man planned to spend every dollar on Twins’ operation. When Randy’s best friend heard about what happened, he gave him $2,000, but it wasn’t enough.
Fortunately, a charitable organization learned about the touching story of the young man and his pet. Volunteers decided to help Randy and Twins.
Soon, kind-hearted people donated about $3,000 for the dog’s surgery! The required amount was raised, and the pet was successfully operated on.
Now, Twins is recovering in the arms of his loving owner. The young man is very grateful to the people who helped save his dog!
“He’s my best friend! He’s always by my side, and I just wanted to thank him,” the owner says.
