At the very first visit to the vet, the kitten’s owners were stunned. The vet said that the baby would not live and that it was better to put it to sleep immediately, so it would not suffer.

People turned to the volunteer organization Stray Cat Alliance. On the spot, the baby was diagnosed with two serious diseases – this is a cleft in the palate, due to which he can not eat. This pathology is corrected by surgery, but for this surgery, the kitten must gain weight, and he can’t gain it, because he can’t eat.
And the second problem is the irregular shape of the paws due to twisted tendons. They can also be corrected, but it needs to be worked on.
Because of the kitten’s distinctive appearance, he was named Grandpa. Volunteers told the owners how to take care of the baby, so that in the future he would live a normal life.
So, the baby needs to be fed every two hours through a special probe, and with the same interval to massage her paws to the tendons stretched. This schedule is for several weeks ahead.
And after a while, Grandpa opened his eyes, which made the parents very happy and gave them hope that their efforts were not in vain.
Ahead of the baby will have many surgeries, a difficult course of rehabilitation, and a happy feline life afterwards. And all thanks to the people who didn’t give up and decided to fight for such a small, but still life.
