Not all people take proper care of their four-legged family members, and some people treat them very unfairly. These sweet dogs were taken away from the city and thrown out into the street when they got tired of them.
The poor defenseless creatures were in a deserted place with the unbearable heat of California. They looked longingly after their owners, who smirked and justified their actions with the excuse that dogs are descended from wolves, and should be able to hunt and find their own food.
Lucky for the cubs, an old tire someone had left around to shield them from the sun. No one knows how long the dogs would have lasted, but fate gave them a chance to survive.
A random car slowed down at this spot, and the driver noticed the animals. The first thing he saw was a wee one who had climbed on a tall pile of garbage. The dog’s appearance was dismal. The man decided to contact a local animal welfare organization and ask for help.
Volunteers Faith and Cassandra did not hesitate to go to the address and find the white dog from the man’s photo. To their surprise, they found two other furry dogs there. The poor creatures were hiding from the scorching sun by climbing into the tire of a car.
According to animal advocates, they often have to rescue abandoned dogs from different places. The cruelty of people sometimes knows no limits.
The unfortunate animals were exhausted, hungry and dehydrated. So the girls did not take them out of the tire, but carried them to the car right in it. Judging by the neglected appearance of the pets, their owners had never really cared for them.
The dogs were a mix of breeds, including a poodle, a shih tzu, and a terrier. However, the breed did not matter to the shelter staff.
The new shelter residents had unusual names – Pirelli, Kumho, and Michelin. The veterinarians had to tinker with the animals in order to fix them up: the fluffy patients had their fur and teeth cleaned.
In their loving hands, the dogs literally transformed before their eyes!
